Park is adjacent to golf course and has special 'Stay and Play' rates. Next to Wells Gray Park about 35 km north of Clearwater. Very relaxed atmosphere and challenging golf course. Great place for a 3 day stay.
As others have said the pull-thru sites @ this park are unique. They give each unit lots of space as well as common space. The management are very friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities were clean and they have lots of both washers and dryers. The only problem is their sewer hookups. They are above ground and difficult to use. Previous reviews indicated this so I simply used the dump site on the way out.
The Park has the potential to be a great place to stop. However, the sites are so narrow if the adjacent unit has a slide you may not have room for your table let alone put out your awning. When we were their the smell from the dairy farms nearby was very noticeable. We would, however, return because of the location.
The park is laid out with a circle of 10 sites. This makes for easy access and lots of green space.Traffic noise can be a problem if you are in the first circle ( 1 - 10 ). Great value. I would think reservations are necessary in the summer.
A large well used park. Well laid out with large area for each site. The Jetty trail is a bonus for walking or biking. Yurts are available for those who may be interested.
Park has RV and Tent areas. RV areas are easy access while the Tent areas have limited access. The front side gets highway noise while the rear area does not. We stopped for the bike trails (9 miles) which were in the park info. They were not as developed as we expected. Good overnight stop.
Access into the sites is very tight. Luckily you are guided right into the spot without even getting out of your vehicle. The trees present a problem for slides. Very clean and well kept. Very little traffic noise even though it is beside a busy road. Best park in Penticton.
